8 Things Everybody Has Wrong About Batman V Superman

6. Batman's Voice Won't Sound Robotic For The Entire Movie

One aspect that seems to have irked fans in these early stages is Ben Affleck's Batvoice, which is heard briefly in the Comic-Con trailer when he confronts Superman. "Tell me," he asks. "Do you bleed?" As he speaks, the voice comes through a kind of robotic filter, which makes the Caped Crusader sound a bit like an android or something. And, of course, said voice was not received very well at all, with many naysayers flocking to the realms of the internet to deride the robotic-sounding Batvoice, declaring it to be pretty much everything under the sun (from "worse than Christian Bale's effort" to "just sh*tty"). What many people completely seemed to miss, however (and it's hard to see how they did, given that it's super obvious), is the fact that said voice is not Ben Affleck's standard Batvoice. When he utters the line, he's clearly wearing a reinforced robot suit in order to face off against Superman - and the robot voice is a byproduct of wearing that suit. We're yet to hear what his proper Batvoice voice will sound like, so there's no use getting riled up about it just yet. Chances are Affleck will probably deliver a worthy interpretation.
