4. There Was More Than The Central Cast At That Reading
The reveal of what was then known only as Episode VII's cast in April 2014 was one of the most exciting moments of the whole pre-release hype so far. Not only were the original stars officially confirmed to be returning, but it also announced the surprise involvement of Max Von Sydow, Andy Serkis and the rest. That wasn't all that that image showed however. And no, that's not referencing R2 in the crate at the back. In the bottom of the widely tweeted picture you can see a collection of people looking in on the circle of Jedi and Rebels. And these aren't just people aiding the unglamorous photo-shoot - they have scripts, meaning these are the supporting cast. That the minor players would turn up to the script reading isn't all that ground-breaking, but given how tight the cast reveals have (tried) to be, it's a pretty big oversight (likely because to crop out the heads would create a visually unpleasing image). Now that filming has wrapped this may seem a little perfunctory, but it's still something snuck by many fans. Guess that's what getting Han, Luke and Leia in the same picture can do.
