1. It's Going To Show Up In Suicide Squad
One of the most intriguing things about the Batmobile isn't what it can do, but where it's shown up. That is on the Toronto set of Suicide Squad, Warner Bros.' second DC Comics movie in 2016. There had been rumours of a very minor cameo for Batman in that movie, but both he and the vehicle's presence on set have made it clear that he'll have a key role. Those photos showed the Batmobile chasing down The Joker and Harley Quinn in a brightly coloured car of their own; the Jokermobile? Batman was then spotted on the roof of the villain's car using a gadget to try and break in through the roof. With some of this scene no doubt shot with green screen, it's not quite clear what happens next or how this fits into the movie, but it's widely believed to be a flashback revealing how Batman caught them. Both Batman and the Batmobile showing up in Suicide Squad is pretty historic as it will mark the first time they've been seen on the big screen in a release not centred around Batman.
