8 Things You Need To Know About Ben Affleck's Batman Movie

8. The Joker Is Going To Appear

Suicide Squad is an interesting place to introduce The Joker, especially as he's obviously a villain so closely associated with Batman. However, the Caped Crusader's presence will be felt there in a major way, with set photos and the trailer having already confirmed that the Dark Knight chases him and Harley Quinn down at some point. As a result, this Clown Prince of Crime will have close ties to Batman as soon as he debuts. With Suicide Squad likely introducing The Joker in the most twisted way possible and Batman V Superman referencing him in a very obvious manner (rumour has it he'll make a physical appearance in flashbacks, but it's hard to say whether those reports are accurate or not), it makes perfect sense that Jared Leto is being lined up to reprise the role and become a major part of Batman's first solo outing. If recent stories are to be believed, The Joker will actually be the film's primary villain, something which points to him not staying behind bars for too long and possibly confirming earlier talks that Suicide Squad is going to conclude with him breaking out of prison and slaughtering all those that stand in his way.
