3. The Good Dinosaur Was Completely Scrapped And Started Again
After Pixar announced all the hassle they'd had with production of The Good Dinosaur, the studio were forced to fend off a barrage of questions from fans about the state of the remaining film; worries that were heightened given that a director change had been made half-way through. Whilst speculation about the changes made to The Good Dinosaur as a result of production problems remains rife, one of the film's main voice actors, John Lithgow, managed to put some fans at ease in an interview back in August. Whilst admitting that the film had been wholly restructured rather than tweaked, Lithgow assured fans that everything was going to be OK, and that the latest Pixar effort was still definitely worth getting excited about:
"I recorded the entire role in Good Dinosaur. They have now dismantled it and completely reimagined it, and it is a fantastic new story. So Im gonna record again on it within the next month. Dont worry. Its coming and its gonna be better than I ever imagined."
Let's hope so, eh?
