8 Things You Need To Know About The New Pixar Movies

2. The Concept Art For The Good Dinosaur Looks Awesome

If actor John Lithgow's promise that The Good Dinosaur is all set to be amazing wasn't enough to convince you, then some of the first images of the film released by Pixar might just help to sway you onside. After several months of uncertainty and turbulence, The Good Dinosaur rightly had several big question marks hanging over it as its new release date drew near. However, towards the end of December last year, Pixar released the official logo for the picture, and also the first concept art for the film (as seen above), indicating that The Good Dinosaur was still very much on the way. An official synopsis for the movie was also released:
The Good Dinosaur€™ asks the generations-old question: What if the asteroid that forever changed life on Earth missed the planet completely and giant dinosaurs never became extinct? In theatres November 25, 2015, the film is a humorous and exciting original story about Arlo, a lively Apatosaurus with a big heart. After a traumatic event unsettles Arlo€™s family, he sets out on a remarkable journey, gaining an unlikely companion along the way €“ a human boy. The Good Dinosaur is an extraordinary journey of self-discovery full of thrilling adventure, hilarious characters and poignant heart.
These first images look pretty damn dazzling to say the least, and should continue to ease fears that fans might previously have had about the troubled production.
