8 Underrated Disney Film Songs From The '90s

5. Under The Sea - The Little Mermaid

As much remembered for the lyrics that Homer Simpson gave to the melody as it is the original, Under The Sea is actually very famous, but overshadowed by another song from the film and therefore on this list.

Part Of Your World will always be the song sang by the fans, as it has also become an anthem for LGBTQ rights around the world, but Under The Sea is just a treat & a delight when it comes along.

It's hard to not love Sebastian the Crab and his reggae style during the film, which is what gives Under The Sea a certain edge over the standard songs of the time. It also has one of Disney's best melodies behind it and is nothing but fun to be a part of. Plus, it has a chorus that everybody knows, even if you have never heard the song before, weirdly.

So whilst Part Of Your World became a part of the fabric of the modern era, adopted to the struggles of the LGBTQ community. Under The Sea was more sub-culture and has its own life as a great Disney song, one that has been parodied many times.
