8 Unloved Movies From 2015 That Deserve A Higher Score On Rotten Tomatoes
4. Hot Tub Time Machine 2
Actual Score: 14% I can't really defend a whole lot about Hot Tub Time Machine 2, but still find it absolutely appalling that any movie featuring Adam Scott in a lead role has such a low rating. The man is a national treasure! The one thing that likely earned this disastrous follow-up to the pointedly silly original is a scene where Scott (playing the conspicuously absent John Cusack's replacement/son) goes on a delightfully cosmic trip thanks to some next-level hallucinogens. It's the kind of bizarro, out-of-place-but-wholly-welcome sequence that the first iteration excelled at. Sadly, this is not "The Adam Scott Show," and the other actors are so used to the film's beats that they barely bother participating. (Rob Corddry is especially disappointing.) Still, Scott's enthusiasm carries Hot Tub Time Machine 2 further than its abysmal Tomatometer rating would have you believe. Adjusted Score: 30%
