5. The Predator
Maybe you prefer your sci-fi laced with all-out horror, in which case The Predator will definitely hold more appeal than The Last Jedi, although Snoke is kind of scary.
The dreadlocked alien warriors are on their way back to Earth for another killing spree, this time with Shane Black at the helm, and the director has confirmed that the movie will not be the dreaded R word, a reboot.
The Predator will take place between the events of the first two entries in the series and pull plot threads from them, but is set before 2010's surprisingly decent Predators.
Boyd Holbrook will play an ex-marine who uncovers the existence of the alien hunters and heads up a task force that aims to turn the hunters into the hunters. Clearly he doesn't know what he's up against!
Don't expect Arnie or any Alien crossover, but be preapred for buckets of blood because The Predator is rated R.
