8 Ways Infinity War Could Affect Netflix's Marvel Universe
4. Defenders Upgraded
Building on the possibility that Tony Stark has contingencies for the meta-human heroes that go under his radar (and one really tough guy who dresses like the devil), whether he lives or dies, Tony Stark might just be sending out some serious tech to the people who've become heroes to the little guy in the aftermath of the battle.
Stark-Tech for Misty Knight's Heroes for Hire (if that's the plan Netflix is going with for future spin-offs) since her comic book counterpart got her arm from Tony Stark; a way for Jessica Jones, PI, to access more information in her cases; something to reinforce Matt's suit when he makes his inevitable return to heroism, or some way to assist Danny in his fight for justice that he can't get himself, despite his resources.
All would make sense under a potential Stark contingency. He did it for Spider-Man, after all.
He could even sell Luke Cage some property for a dollar, like he did with the Avengers Mansion in the comics, although Luke doesn't seem like the kind of guy who'd trust rich folk or their gifts—unless he can use it to help others.
