9 "Dead" Movie Characters Who Must Return In Upcoming Sequels

Captain Phasma is the breakaway Star Wars star, portrayed by Game of Thrones' Gwendoline Christie aka Ser Brienne of Tarth. Phasma's main character is best described as tall woman, big weapon, cool armor, radness. So far, she's died twice.

You'd think that you only get one off-screen resurrection (that must then be covered in a spin-off comic because dollar dollar bills, y'all) but with Captain Phasma, the odds are good that she'll come back one more time. She won't even be the oddest resurrection in the next film, given Palpatine and Kylo Ren's emo helmet. Heck, with the Death Star II in the film, she won't even be the most deadly thing in the film, either.

Either in Episode 9, one of the next three trilogies, or her own movie in a decade, Captain Phasma will return to the Star Wars universe and the world will be better for it.
