9 Actors Who Could Completely Ruin Their Upcoming Movies

1. James Corden - Peter Rabbit (Peter Rabbit)

For some reason America now loves James Corden. Yes, Carpool Karaoke's a thing and apparently if you host a late night show you're set for life, but I just don't get it. Whatever, they can keep him for all I care, although while they're at it cab they can stop him butchering British classics?

He's currently set to star in Peter Rabbit as the voice of eponymous blue-jacket wearing critter alongside Rose Byrne. So we have a CGI/live-action mash-up with a grating lead whose "acting" is just speaking in a marginally higher-pitched voice than normal? Beatrix Potter would be thrilled.

Of course, with the Peter Rabbit movie there's also an overriding question of what the story would actually be - the scuffle in Mr McGregor's garden is going to be hard to stretch out to 90 minutes - although there's enough of an extended universe (urgh) to make it work. But with Corden (whose acting is worse than his public persona) at the helm this feels like a poisoned well from the start, and out of every actor on this list is the one I most want to see recast.
