Big 2015 Films: American Sniper, Foxcatcher, Unfinished Business, Mississippi Grind, Burnt American Sniper, Foxcatcher, Unfinished Business, Mississippi Grind, Burnt - what mid-budget movie hasn't Sienna Miller been in this year? Heck, she was originally in Black Mass (until her part was cut), which would have made her the Comeback Queen of 2015. Miller's a rather odd actress - despite her prolific status (down from the Jude Law years, but still), she doesn't really stand out in any of her films. It'd be easy to watch one of her performances and not even realise you're watching a supposed A-List star over any jobbing actress. Yes, that's quite harsh, and I'm not really sold on her as an actress, but the numbers don't lie. Five prominent movies in 2015 is a phenomenal output and while none have really been a standout (her best performance was probably Mississippi Grind, and that was only a short appearance) it's ensured she's an actress people are paying attention to for acting the first time since, what... Layer Cake? Her output looks set to slow next year, but that doesn't mean she won't be a presence - she stars in Ben Wheatley's High-Rise, which has been screened at several film festivals and, trust me, is incredible.
