9 Awesome Deleted Scenes From The Dark Knight Trilogy

1. Bane's Origins

Bane, like many of the villains in The Dark Knight Trilogy, is a rather mysterious character. At the beginning of the film he is presented as a banished member of the League of Shadows, and by the end has been revealed to be Talia€™s protector; a prisoner who sacrificed his safety to get her out of the Pit. This left him badly injured, and, after being rescued by Ra€™s al Ghul, he was briefly integrated into the League of Shadow€™s (at Talia€™s behest) before Ra€™s excommunicated him. This is but the fraction of what was mapped out for the film. An interview with costume designer Lindy Hemming revealed that a lot of footage was deleted, including scenes of him being harassed by prisoners and training with the League of Shadows. This sequence would have included a more detailed explanation as to the nature of his injuries and how the mask works to subdue the pain, including an early and more primitive version. This is by far one of the most well known deleted scenes of The Dark Knight Trilogy, with Lindy Hemming€™s interview confirming that it was both scripted and filmed going viral. Unfortunately, no actual footage or photographs of this deleted sequence have been released, and who knows when, if ever, they will be. Are there any more unseen moments from The Dark Knight Trilogy?
