9 Awesome Thanos Moments That Need To Be In Avengers: Infinity War

8. Encouraging Black Bolt (Infinity #4)

For those unfamiliar with Black Bolt, king of the Inhumans, here€™s a clue as to how powerful he is; if the guy were to sneeze, he€™d wipe Melbourne off the map. See, Black Bolt is both blessed and cursed with a sonic projection so potent that if he were to whisper sweet nothings in your ear, then you wouldn€™t have an ear to whisper sweet nothings into. Or a head, for that matter. In the Infinity event, Thanos sets off to commit numerous acts of filicide, hunting down his offspring and dispatching of them before they realize just how often he had skirted on child support payments. In a story-line that is obvious wish fulfilment for any parent who has a child on an MTV reality show, Thanos eventually ends up in the moon-based city of Attilan, home to the Inhumans. Thanos was initially demanding a €˜tribute€™ in order for Attilan to be spared his attention; the tribute being the heads of young Inhuman€™s between the ages of sixteen and twenty-two. It turns out that was all just a ruse, as Thanos - in a rare moment of mercy - only wants to find and slaughter one Inhuman; his long-lost son. The silent but deadly Black Bolt, unimpressed with Thanos€™ request, offers no response. Then Thanos, a smirk on his face, asks, €˜What say you, little king?€™ Black Bolt responds with a €˜NO!€™, a shout that created great destruction and only slightly ruffled Thanos€™ feathers. Thanos, withstanding the full scream of Black Bolt, walks up to him like a G and shuts him up as he places his hand around Black Bolt€™s head, saying, €˜Keep your secrets€ Carry them to the grave!€™. He then punctuates this by smashing Black Bolt into the ground, cranium first. How It Would Work In Infinity War: The Inhumans movie was initially scheduled to release before Infinity War Part 2, but then Sony realized that they would actually make more money splitting Spider-Man profits with Marvel instead of creating The Amazing Spider-Man 3. Slotting in a new Spider-Man film ended up pushing the Inhumans release date back and it will now be released after Infinity War Part 2. However, that does not mean that this moment cannot be replicated in Infinity War. The Inhumans have been introduced in Agents of Shield, which is canon for the MCU. What better way to let people know just how powerful Black Bolt's Pavarotti imitation is by having a scene in Infinity War where Thanos confronts the Inhuman king, chasing down the final Stone. Black Bolt, perched on his throne, glares at Thanos, who asks him 'What do you say?'. Black Bolt then speaks, causing more chaos than Godzilla in Legoland and Thanos takes the brunt of the attack, which appears to hurt him, but only slightly. Brushing himself off, he says, 'You're going to have to speak a lot louder if you want me to hear you.' This will not only make Thanos look even cooler but, as Thanos will be established as an overpowered badass before this, will show just how strong Black Bolt is by having him cause some damage.
