Clive Barker's Hellraiser franchise centres around a demon-summoning puzzle box called the Lament Configuration. By solving this cube, one can awaken a group of Cenobites called The Gash, led by The Lead Cenobite, AKA Pinhead.

As intimidating as this walking pin-cushion and his lackeys are, the ancient Cenobite, the Engineer, looks way scarier. Protagonist Kirsty comes into contact with this serpent beast the first time she uses the Configuration. After she encounters The Engineer while walking though The Labyrinth, the abomination begins crawling towards her, ready to devour her... or worse. Running as fast as she can, the cat-eyed demon ferociously slashes at her, edging ever closer.

Even though this chase should be the scariest moment in the entire movie, you're taken out of the scene as soon as you see the Engineer is being moved on a trolley! It only lasts a second but it's very noticeable and ruins a potentially frightening scene. It's a shame since this flub could have been remedied if the editor simply cut to the next shot a couple of frames sooner.
