Appearing in the 2004 comedy Dodgeball Lance Armstrong appears to give a talk to Vince Vaughns defeated character. Inspiring him to preserve and never give up, Armstrongs speech worked and helped to bring Vaughns team to success. However, since his role in the film Armstrongs speech has been the victim of many taunts that he did not practise what he preached. Either way, his role was timely and perfect for that moment of the film.
6. Matt Damon in Eurotrip
Completely unexpectedly Matt Damon played the lead singer of a rock band in the 2004 film Eurotrip. Commenting about his role in the film, Damon said it seemed "kind of funny to him". Covered in tattoos with piercings and shaved head he looked completely different to his other roles. The cameo was short but sweet, and helped to generate a greater buzz in the film.
