7. Dolemite

Serving 20 years for enough narcotics to make Pablo Escobar blush, Dolemite is offered a deal: an early release just as long as he takes back his turf and avenges the murder of his nephew.

He will achieve this with the help of his "kung-fu kicking hoes" (no, seriously), brutally murdering anyone who gets in his way including his arch rival Willie Green and the cops responsible for setting him up.

Rudy Ray Moore's passion project is based on a character he first performed for comedy albums in the early 70's and one he used his own money to bring to life on the big screen, which may explain why this movie is so damn funny, even unintentionally.

Nobody can act, the fight scene's wouldn't look out of place in a playground and even the stunt doubles barely resemble the people they're standing in for.

Yet underneath it all you get the sense that Moore really believed in what he was doing and that alone means it's worth an hour and a half of anyone's time.
