9 Bond Women That 007 Didn't Actually Sleep With
1. Camille Montes - Quantum Of Solace
The most 'modern' of male-female relationships of the Bond era comes in the hard slog that is Quantum of Solace. Olga Kurylenko provides a strong presence as Camille Montes, a character searching for vengeance against the Bolivian General responsible for killing her family and leaving her with severe burns.
Unlike the rather uncomfortable scene in Skyfall where Bond seemingly manipulates a target for sex despite significant traumas in her past, 007 thankfully doesn't head in that direction here. Instead, the two act as kindred spirits, both haunted by their pasts and trying to search for meaning by taking down those responsible for the loss of their loved ones.
After achieving their respective goals, the two share a tender kiss. However it is very fitting of the dark tone of the film when Camille walks away from Bond, her mission complete, but without any feeling of a victory from her or the audience.
Many other Directors would have had Camille and Bond as a bedroom item, but on this occasion it was a good call to steer away from this idea, as it just would have cheapened the one strong dynamic of the film.
