9 Extremely Subtle Movie Cameos That Went Straight Over Your Head

6. Chris Martin - Shaun Of The Dead

Stick on a load of fake blood and liquid latex, get some good grunts going, tear up your clothes a little bit, and voila, you’ve got yourself a realistic enough zombie. The cheapest movies to make and practically overrunning the film industry at one point in some weird reflection of the zombie hordes these films depict - Shaun of the Dead is one of the ones that inspired a whole bunch of films to follow suit, and it’s as much for its hilarious zombie fun as it is the supermarket full of easter eggs that it packs in along the way.

One such egg that people have noticed since the film's release is Coldplay's own Chris Martin lurking in the background of one of the shots, playing a wobbly extra as Simon Pegg and Kate Ashfield run about looking for a way through the shuffling masses. Considering there's an apocalypse on, he's looking remarkably good for one of the undead. Maybe zombies just love a good iron before they're out for a day of brain eating.
