9 Extremely Subtle Movie Cameos That Went Straight Over Your Head
5. Carrie Fisher And George Lucas - Hook
Appearing at the start of Peter Pan movie Hook, two lovers stand on a bridge and kiss as night falls over London, before a magical presence - namely, the one and only Tinkerbell - passes over them and douses the pair with a large helping of fairy dust. It's a warm moment as the pair float upwards with a little help from magical intervention as they're minding their own business on the bridge; but there's something more to our lovers than what first meets the eye.
The duo comprises of Star Wars's own Carrie Fisher and George Lucas, the former acting as a script doctor on the movie throughout the writing process. Considering both Fisher and Lucas's close friendship with Spielberg, it makes sense for them to appear in some small way in Hook's charming narrative; even if it isn't really possible to make them out at all unless you've got some serious telescopic vision.
At the very least, it's forewarning of Fisher's flying 'superman' moment in The Last Jedi. You saw it here first.
