9 Famous Movie Moments Unbelievably Nailed On The First Take

4. Sylvester Stallone Has One Take To Shoot His Favourite Scene; Captures It Perfectly - Rocky

The production of Rocky was no easy feat; towards the end of the process, the crew were running behind and it was deemed necessary that certain sequences were cut - including the now famous one that sees Rocky admitting all his fears and doubts to Adrian the night before the final fight. Sylvester Stallone, however, who wrote the script, considered this to be the most important scene in the whole film - that one that tied everything together.

He eventually managed to convince the producers to shoot the scene, but they gave him just one take to get it right. If Stallone screwed up, there would be no such scene in the film. With the stakes super high, Stallone and his co-star Talia Shire (who played Rocky's love interest Adrian) managed to knock the scene out of the park in a single take. As a result, Stallone was able to include this moment in the film - his favourite of them all.

That's the kind of pressure that nobody needs, but perhaps it contributed to the scene's palpable atmosphere?
