9 Fan Service Moments Everyone Wants In Upcoming Movies
2. The Toys We Lost Along The Way - Toy Story 4
The adventures of Woody the cowboy and Buzz Lightyear, ever since their debut as the first major 3D animated movie in 1995, have become a cultural touchstone for people of all ages. Following the fakeout finale of Toy Story 3 in 2010, the honest, serious, no takesy-backsies final chapter will be the upcoming Toy Story 4, which promises to be the true ending for our favourite toys come to life.
However, seeing as the notable absence of Woody's love interest Bo Peep in Toy Story 3 is finally being addressed in Toy Story 4, fans of the series can't help but wonder about the other toys who vanished into thin air with little to no fanfare.
The plucky RC, the affably pathetic Wheezy or the resourceful green army men, all key players in the stories of the first two Toy Story films whose lack of presence in Toy Story 3 was shrugged off with an off-handed comment about yard sales or charity donations.
While the voice actors of the aforementioned Wheezy and Army Men (Joe Ranft and R. Lee Ermey, respectively) have sadly passed away, that shouldn't deter Pixar from at least a namedrop or two to give fans closure on the lesser-known toys who were overlooked in recent instalments.
