Like Cyborg, Wonder Woman has already been cast in the DC Cinematic Universe. Gal Gadot will portray the Amazonian warrior in the Batman versus Superman movie, though only in a supporting role. Unlike Cyborg, however, she is still very likely to get her own movie as well. Wonder Woman is part of DC's holy trinity - Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman being the company's three flagship characters. The first two members of that trinity the Caped Crusader and the Man of Steel have both had multiple titular movies over the years, with both characters having been portrayed by a number of actors, so it really is a mystery why Wonder Woman hasn't been given a shot already. Lynda Carter successfully portrayed the character in the ever-popular television series of the 1970s, which shows that it can work on screen in live action, so to limit the character to mere supporting roles seems both a shame and very unlikely. For that reason, there's no doubt in our minds that Gadot will get to star in her own movie - especially if the character proves popular in her initial supporting role - and we're sure that a Wonder Woman movie is one of the nine that DC and Warner Brothers have recently announced, despite their hesitancy to confirm it and despite the fact that Gadot is hardly a household name - she's just too big a character to waste.
