Like Green Lantern, the Flash is an integral member of any Justice League line-up. Whether it's Wally West, Barry Allen, Jay Garrick or Bart Allen taking up the Flash mantle, every Justice League incarnation needs a speedster. Also like Green Lantern, no Flash has been cast in the DC Cinematic Universe to date, so it would seem that the character is going to be given his own movie, rather than appearing in the confirmed Batman versus Superman movie, as a means of introducing him. While fans might question the ability of a character whose only real power is that he is incredibly fast to hold a movie on his own, the Flash is undoubtedly a popular enough character in the comic books to warrant the Hollywood treatment and, given the right actor, there's no doubt that the film could be a success. With Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and Cyborg already confirmed, the Flash will form one part of a very formidable live action superhero team, that's for sure.
