When it comes to the more troubling found footage movies, Megan Is Missing has been discussed time and time again. The thing is, it would be remiss to do an article such as this and not include Michael Goi's 2011 effort.

However you look at it, Megan Is Missing is a seriously messed up movie - and the most messed up part of the film is its chilling final few minutes!

To give a quick recap, this picture is based around 14-year-old Megan disappearing after meeting someone she met online. Megan's best pal Amy is on the hunt to find her friend, and this hunt sees her uncover security footage of Megan's kidnapping and then the titular character's subsequent torture.

Just when you thought Megan Is Missing was already majorly F'd up, things get more eww-inducing as Amy continues her search. Said search results in Amy herself being abducted, as the audience is shown a scene of her chained to a wall, begging for food, then raped.

That still wasn't enough for Megan Is Missing. As her captor promises Amy freedom so long as she gets into a barrel, it's upon entering that barrel that Amy sees the dead, decaying corpse of her best friend. The barrel has its lid slammed shut and is then buried - meaning Amy is stuck in a tight space, underground, in darkness, next to the rotting corpse of her best friend.
