9 Horror Movies That Were Investigated By The Police

3. Guinea Pig 2: Flower Of Flesh And Blood (1985)

This entry, both the film it discusses and the horrific events that followed, is genuinely difficult to write about and may be hard to read for some.

The second instalment in the Guinea Pig saga, the film simply shows a man dressed up as a samurai dismembering and torturing an innocent woman. Quite frankly, it’s horrid.

So much so, that when actor Charlie Sheen saw the film, he reported it to the FBI as he was convinced it was a real life snuff film. An investigation was launched, but thankfully it was revealed to all be false after a ‘making-of’ documentary was released.

Tragically, however, the serial killer Tsutomu Miyazaki (known as the Otaku Murderer) imitated the acts seen in Guinea Pig 2 when committing his evil crimes against four girls – or the police assumed he did although upon further investigation it turned out to be Guinea Pig 4.

Whether or not the film can be blamed for the murder of four innocent young girls – all of whom were under ten years old – is hard to say. But personally, I think this vile film series should be forgotten altogether.
