2. Sydney Sweeney Was Bitten By A Spider Whilst Filming A Scene - Anyone But You
Speaking of animal co-stars changing the way you look at certain movie scenes, after learning about Sydney Sweeney's real-life experience with her Huntsman spider scene partner, you'll definitely be left wincing that little more when watching one Anyone but You moment.
Whilst shooting a scene involving said spider, Sweeney, and co-star Glen Powell, the Euphoria actor was told to shake the arachnid to make it move on camera (via EW). And what do you know, agitating this trained spider resulted in the animal eventually chomping down on Sweeney, as seen in the unused take below which she brought to The Tonight Show.
Sweeney wasn't the only person who went through a bit of an ordeal during the shooting of this chaotic scene either. Powell would later note to Variety how he "almost died" trying to get his clothes off post-spider reveal, explaining that he nearly fell off the cliff trying to get his pants off too quick.
So, while this scene may have initially seemed like little more than a bit of silly and entirely safe romcom fun, it was actually a surprisingly traumatic one for the human stars.
