9 More Movie Moments IMPOSSIBLE To Watch The Same Way After This
1. Jennifer Lawrence Wasn't There Whilst Shooting The Elevator Moment - The Hunger Games: Catching Fire
During the second Hunger Games picture, Catching Fire, Johanna Mason ended up memorably sharing an elevator with Katniss Everdeen, Peeta Mellark, and Haymitch Abernathy. And it was during that rather awkward moment when Jena Malone's character confidently stripped off completely in front of the gang.
However, as recently revealed by Malone herself in a red carpet conversation with Variety, one specific cast member wasn't actually present during that famous Hunger Games scene.

Katniss star Jennifer Lawrence was sick that day, according to Malone, which meant the team had to capture the elevator moments without her. So, it's likely Lawrence's part in the scene - hilariously giving Josh Hutcherson's Peeta a death stare as he helped Johanna unzip her dress - was then just shot later when she felt better and added in post-production.
Even with Malone's jaw-dropping revelation, it's still tough to believe she wasn't actually sharing an elevator with her Oscar-winning co-star during that moment shot in a real hotel. But it's seemingly the truth, folks, and will no doubt alter the way you watch this rather revealing Catching Fire scene forever.
