4. Katheryn Winnick Is Black Canary?
File this one under rumour for now, but it's a pretty juicy one nevertheless.
Vikings star Katheryn Winnick recently took to Instagram to tease that she's at work on a secret project which is due to be announced at Comic-Con.
This post set social media abuzz with speculation that Winnick has been cast as DC Comics heroine the Black Canary.
There's certainly substance behind this theory since the actress has been expressing her desire to play the character since 2013 and is known to retweet fan art depicting her in costume, via Photoshop, of course.
What's more, confirmation that Winnick is the DC cinematic universe's Black Canary could line up neatly with newly announced details from the Batgirl or Gotham City Sirens movies during Warner Bros panel.
