1. Has Green Lantern Corps Found Its Director?
Another tasty rumour that's been doing the rounds in the run-up to Comic-Con concerns the identity of Green Lantern Corps' director.
Although the DC movie isn't due to arrive until 2022, The Hashtag Show brings word that Rise of the Planet of the Apes helmer Rupert Wyatt has signed up for the project.
Little is known about the project, besides its inclusion of two versions of the ring-wielding hero - Hal Jordan and John Stewart, marking the latter's cinematic debut.
Wyatt almost gained some prior comic movie experience when he was attached to Fox's Gambit solo outing, only to drop out when the project sailed into troubled waters.
The Hashtag Show is occasionally reliable with these kind of reports, but we'll have to wait until Comic-Con to find out whether it's on the money this time.
