5. Harold Lloyd - Safety Last!

One of the very first insane stunts to be performed on camera - if not, the first - silent movie star Harold Lloyd showed off a unique feat of derring-do at the time. Lloyd climbs out onto a clock affixed to the side of a fake wall positioned atop a building in L.A., finding himself in more and more precarious a predicament as the celluloid rolls.
