1. Forky - Toy Story 4

Here's a sentence absolutely nobody could have expected to write or say even a week ago: Toy Story 4 is going to star a sentient spork in the midst of an existential crisis of existence (not only because he's neither fork nor spoon but also because he's been turned into a toy). Pixar have done grown-up stories before, but this is on an entirely different level.

We've been led to believe that the fourth Toy Story movie was going to be a romantic tale about Woody trying to find and rescue Bo Peep and then the teaser dropped and introduced a screaming Forky (whose name makes no sense) in agony over the nature of his very existence. It's like they've been looking at everyone's Twitter for the past two years and realising that killing Bing Bong pretty much broke an entire generation of Millenials.

On top of all that, we got a second teaser that some people claimed was as problematic as those two racist robots in Transformers and a poster that might as well have said WOODY IS GOING TO DIE in massive letters on it. It's all going to be very painful and very strange and it's hard to know what the hell to think.
