9 Most Undeserved Movie Plot Twists
7. Saw: Jigsaw Was In The Room The Whole Time
While the audience was still reeling after watching Cary Elwes commit self-harm, Saw recapped everything that had come before in a series of flashbacks and told them to forget everything they believed about Zep being the killer.
This would have been fine, except for the part where Jigsaw turns out to have been masquerading as that corpse in the middle of the room since the opening scene. How could he possibly have remained ramrod still for the duration?
His two captives may have lacked logic and problem-solving skills, but even they shouldn't have been able to tell the difference between a corpse and a man playing dead with prosthesis glued to his dead. One of them was a doctor, for Pete's sake.
Anyone would have struggled to lie dead still on the floor of that dingy bathroom without moving a fingernail for all those hours, let alone a terminally ill man. Outing Zep as just another pawn worked fine, but the Jigsaw reveal was a twist too far.
