9 Movie Bloopers You Didn’t Spot In The Final Cut

8. Star-Lord Drops The Orb - Guardians Of The Galaxy

It's hard to tell where butterfingered Chris Pratt ends and Star-Lord begins in this scene from Guardians of the Galaxy, in which the cosmic hero hands the all-powerful Orb over to the Collector. In typical Peter Quill fashion, he drops the planet-destroying artifact and must quickly recover to catch it before any universes are obliterated.

According to director James Gunn, Star-Lord's Orb fumble was never in the script and was purely a result of the actor's clumsiness. No doubt he left it in the final cut because this is absolutely something the roguish hero would do, plus it makes for a decent visual gag.

Pratt is due to reprise his role as Star-Lord in the forthcoming Avengers: Infinity War, which is sure to include more gaffes from him, both in the bloopers reel when the Blu-ray eventually comes out, and probably the final cut too.
