6. Coach Carter Upsets Hysterical Man

Samuel L Jackson has been known to upset a lot of people - some thanks to his foghorn like shoutiness, some thanks to the terrible, terrible films he has made, and some simply because he refuses to do any nude scenes (other than accidental ones). In Coach Carter, however, the imposing Tarantino favourite was upsetting people in character by closing a school gym in order to punish his undefeated Varsity team at California's Richmond High School for not meeting the grades they agreed they would at the start of the season.

Carter should have been heralded an American hero for his services to education and to his young charges - he stuck to his guns, despite ridicule, in order to teach a valuable lesson. But sporting victory is obviously too much of a drug to give up, if the asian man in the background of this shot is anything to go by.
