5. The A-Team
2010s The A-Team worked surprisingly well. Sure, it was incredibly dumb, but its very hard to dislike a film that has four buddies trying to fly a tank. Theres two cases of fan displeasing here. Admittedly the first is a rather minor personality switch. As the film progresses, we see Bradley Coopers Face slowly shift to be a more prominent, well, face in the group. Likely due to actors rising star, it is a world away from the Faceman in the original series. The second, however, is a rather major change in tone for the series. As a family show, any violence was seriously toned down, with no blood and the quartet never killing anyone. It even became customary to have scenes showing drivers escaping from crashed cars and helicopters. In an era where death can be treated lightly, no such restrictions were necessary and the film skirted closer to normal, 12A level violence. Of course, compared to other films on this list, there was smaller fan backlash, mainly because people hold the light entertainment series a lot less close to the heart than their beloved comic books.
