Nobody's going to argue that Batman Forever and Batman & Robin aren't two of the worst superhero movies of all time. But beyond the oft-stated crimes, they also happen to feature one of the most unreliable sidekicks in movie history as well. Chris O'Donnell's take on the Robin character is a pretty dire one as it is, but when he starts making reckless decisions and rebelling against Batman's authority, things start to get dangerous. Take his joyride in the Batmobile for example. For starters, you don't just take Batman's car, and especially when it leads to you getting yourself surrounded by members of the Neon Gang. Batman has his hands full as it is, don't you think? Then, when Batman takes his eyes off him again, he goes and gets himself under the spell of Poison Ivy, rebelling against the big man even further. It's perhaps as much as you can expect from these particular entries into the Batman canon, but having a sidekick who can't be left alone for two minutes without being supervised is just not safe.
