9 Movie Spoilers We Didn’t Know Last Week (May 24th)
5. Thor: Ragnarok Will Feature Grandmaster, Skurge, Valkyrie & Hela
We learned not only a fleet of new cast members who joined Thor: Ragnarok this week, but more importantly who they would be playing.
First up, Jeff Goldblum will play Grandmaster, an eccentric Elder in what frankly sounds like a part tailor-made for his skills, while Karl Urban will play Skurge aka The Executioner, a villainous Asgardian warrior, Tessa Thompson will play the heroic Valkyrie as expected, and Cate Blanchett's villain will be Hela, the ruler of Hel.
Though the first two Thor movies are surely among the weaker MCU movies to date, it's hard not to feel incredibly hyped by the absurdly talented cast number three has assembled, and that's not to mention director Taika Waititi helming the thing.
