2. The Aliens Invade A Planet Covered In Their One Weakness - Signs
Its easy to see what attracted the aliens from Signs to Planet Earth. Its a great place to conquer. Lots of land, beautiful scenery, fresh air and friendly people. On paper it seems like a good idea. They arrived and played some mind games, making crop circles and appearing on grainy video footage just to freak people out. They must have realised early on that it was destined to go bad, as seventy one percent of their chosen target is covered in water, a liquid thats like acid to them. So if a bunch of them got caught in the rain theyre going to have a really bad day. Other tactical issues: they dont appear to have any projectile weaponry, theyre easily foiled by locked doors and they can be taken down with a mere baseball bat, so going up against anyone with a gun is a no go. You have to feel a little sorry for them, they bit off a lot more than they could chew with this one.
