9 Movies That Were Ruined By One Misjudged Scene

7. "Nooooooo!" - Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q3ZcX1JNju4 For all the hate that the Star Wars prequels get, you kind of have to admit that - by "normal" movie standards, anyway - the third movie isn't that bad. I happen to like it - at least, "like it" in the sense that it's certainly an enjoyable watch, and it beats Episodes I and II into the ground in the way I'd like to beat Jar Jar Binks into the ground with a blunt shovel. That's what I thought a few years ago the last time I watched this movie, though... recently, I paid it a revisit, and who knew one scene could make me so mad? Why, oh, why, is Darth Vader given that "Nooooooooo!" moment? I know it kind of sounds a bit pathetic to say that it ruined the entire movie, but for me, it sort of did. I was fine up until this happened, and then it just brought on all the bad George Lucas memories that I've stored in the back of my brain. It's so dumb and strange - surely even George Lucas knows that something like that isn't going to go down well with audiences? The fact that it's funny undermines the entire movie. And it's supposed to be the most dramatic part of the entire trilogy... the point we've been working towards for six hours... the moment where Anakin Skywalker finally becomes Darth Vader. And George, like, screwed it up fantastically.
