9 Must See 2012 Films Still To Come

2. Seven Psychopaths

When I first saw the trailer for this film I was bowled over. Not by extensive storyline, not by its expensive CGI and not by it being in 3D. The reason why? None of those aspects apply to Seven Psychopaths. The reason I was so hooked was because of the performances, the comic timing, the loose storyline which provides just enough for a basis but not too much to bog it down. It€™s crazy and it knows it. Directed by Martin McDonagh (In Bruges) and starring Colin Farrell (Total Recall), Sam Rockwell (Moon), Christopher Walken (Hairspray), Woody Harrelson (Zombieland), Abbie Cornish (Limitless), Tom Waits (Mystery Men) and Olga Kurylenko (Quantum of Solace) the story follows Marty (Farrell) who€™s a struggling writer trying to finish off his screenplay when he becomes entangled in the Los Angeles criminal underworld after his oddball friends kidnap a gangster's beloved Shih Tzu. It won€™t win Oscars or Golden Globes, but who wants that from every film they watch? All I want is to get lost in something for a few hours and feel good when it€™s all over. If you€™re still not overly convinced then watch the trailer. Trust me, we€™re friends now right? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jsHR77oQKEY Seven Psychopaths will be released on December 7th.
