9 Possible Characters Willem Dafoe Will Play In Justice League

Doesn't at least some small part of you wish Willem Dafoe was your dad? Like, maybe not one that's super involved with your everyday life, but one that shows up on holidays and sends you cryptic messages on your birthday? No? Just me?

Fine then. But how about getting to see him as the father of a superhero then?

Dafoe would be a sensible choice to play Tom Curry, a.k.a. Aquaman's dad. Tom, who works as a lighthouse keeper (naturally), plays a pivotal role in teaching the aquatic superhero how to live above sea level while instilling in him a sense of compassion that never existed in his first home, Atlantis.

Up until this point, one of the best things the DC Extended Universe has done is show how its heroes were shaped by their parents. It's a vital part of every origin story, and with Aquaman getting his own movie in 2018, it would make sense to give Tom Curry a few minutes of screen time here before making him a more integral part of the story later on.
