9 Problems With Rom-Coms That No One Wants To Admit

7. You're Bored Of The Same Story Line And Clichés

Highly attractive couple meet, fall in love, have outstanding sexy time in and out of the bedroom, they then fall out and refuse to speak to each other out of sheer stubbornness and then they get back together. Sound familiar? This is because this is literally the storyline of every romantic comedy ever written (more or less). There's no depth to the characters and there's nothing there to surprise you anymore. But because you'd be branded a freak if you turn around and rebuke all of your friends who go to the cinema to watch these movies, you'll end up going with them. This is because you want to see if anyone in Hollywood has an original idea or because you don't want to be that girl who is seen as bitter and warped, all because she would rather watch something that is actually stimulating.
