6. Most Of Them Aren't Funny

They show all of the funny bits in the trailers right? Most Rom Coms these days either parody other films or are a parody of the genre itself. Obviously there are some movies that will make you laugh regardless of how many times you've watched them, but it seems like everyone is either trying too hard or not enough. You would have thought that a movie with Paul Rudd and Amy Poehler would have been the best thing that has ever happened to you, but it just wasn't. They Came Together basically replaced You've Got Mail with another title and turned the book shops into sweetie shops. The only funny thing about it was the shower scene with Paul Rudd in the opening credits and the dead body underneath the leaves, which shouldn't even be funny in the first place... because it's a dead body.
