9 Problems With Rom-Coms That No One Wants To Admit

1. They Make You Feel Picky

You're not picky, you just know what you want. If you're single, they'll make you feel like you're picky as hell because the protagonists always accept each other despite their flaws. Except for you, when someone who cheats on you and has a dead end job with no prospects, you're not going to find them attractive or will want to settle down with them. And there's nothing wrong with that, it's just your preference. But because everything in Rom Coms is so forgiving and nothing reflects the real world, it creates this parallel universe and ideology that love is enough. And sometimes, it's just not. So if you haven't met Mr Right just yet, don't feel pressured to settle down with the next person you see because according to True Love, you'll know if they're the One before you've even spoken to them. If you have any more points that you'd like to make feel free to write them in the thread below.
