9 Reasons An X-23 Movie Needs To Happen

1. Everyone Involved Really Wants To Do It

And finally, the most compelling reason of all for an X-23 movie to get made? Everyone involved wants it to happen. Logan's writer-director James Mangold wants to helm it, Dafne Keen wants to reprise her X-23 role at least once, and producer Simon Kinberg seems confident about it actually happening.

Considering the workmanlike feel of X-Men: Apocalypse, the series is clearly in need of some fresh, enthusiastic blood, and the Mangold-Keen pairing in particular has the potential to bear some incredible fruit if Fox allows this to happen.

To not strike while the iron's hot would be a monumental mistake and result in the studio leaving hundreds of millions of dollars on the table in the short term, and possibly much more in the long run.
