9 Rumours You Need To Know About Star Wars Episode 8
7. Return To A Location From The Force Awakens
This is one that is rather more substantial, as Lucasfilm have confirmed that they will be shooting part of Episode VIII on the island Skellig Michael, off the Southern coast of Ireland. The rumour part comes into it with the fact that this isn't a new location, but one they have already used for some scenes in The Force Awakens, although obviously we don't know exactly what location this will be yet. However, it seems a relatively safe bet to say that Episode VIII will be returning to this location, which suggests it could be a pretty important one. What exactly could it be? Well, Mark Hamill was spotted there when The Force Awakens was shooting, so it's believed that's where the film will find the now-reclusive Jedi. Returning there for Episode VIII means that either he doesn't leave the location come the film's end, he returns to the place he's now calling home, or there's unfinished business or a new threat there that needs dealing with.
