9 Simple Fixes That Would Have Saved Avengers: Age Of Ultron

8. Show Some Thanos

As is standard, there was some clear foreshadowing for the future of the MCU once Age Of Ultron's credits began to roll, as Thanos grabs the Infinity Gauntlet and, having realised no one else is up to that task, proclaims that he'll "do it" himself. There are a couple of problems with this. Firstly, what's he been doing this whole time? The likes of Loki and Ronan have been doing the hard-work, while he's sat around on another planet dictating things, but now all all of a sudden he's taking a forward role (which probably would've made more sense after the first Avengers or Guardians anyway). The larger issue is that once again it builds to Thanos being the big threat looming over the entire MCU, and once again it fails to show us why we should care. Yes, if you've read the comics, or know the outlines, then he's a total bad-ass, but in the movies he's done nothing to really get fans excited about his appearance. They could've included a scene of him showing off some of his destructive power, rather than just setting up him getting the Gauntlet, which we already knew was happening, and really ramped up some excitement for the character.
