9 Subtle MCU Gags You Definitely Didn't Notice

One of the breakout characters of Thor: Ragnarok was Korg. The rock monster, played by director Taika Waititi, was surprisingly gentle and funny, bringing an extra level of humour to the already hilarious Thor threequel.

However, there is a much more subtle joke surrounding Korg. When he first meets Thor, he makes a joke about the game Rock, Paper, Scissors: There's no need to be afraid of him, unless you're made of scissors.

However, Korg's Rock, Paper, Scissors joke gains extra layers throughout the film. He later reveals that he was arrested because he tried to start a revolution without printing enough pamphlets. Therefore, paper beat rock.

Additionally, later in the film, Korg accidentally injures his friend Miek, described as "an insect with knives for hands." Since Miek, a blade handed insect, is so easily hurt by Korg, a rock creature, it goes to show that rock beats scissors.
